Their rate is probably something ridiculously as low as 0.25%. That means if you have $10,000 in your account, in one year, you'll have a total of $10,025. Next time, consider opening a High Yield Online savings account, which are typically 4-5x the national average. They can offer much higher rates due to less overhead costs. But you're right, what is done is done and your wedding is coming up soon. It's probably not worth the effort of opening up such an account now. Lena,
